If you have one it should be on the firewall,
as I understand it,
BRIGGS made bodys and MURRAY made bodys,
one of them used body tags and one did not,
I do not know which one did use, it,
I have a 37 760-A with no body tag,
hope this helps 37 RAGTOPMAN
you might want to buy the V8 FORD CLUBS, 1939-1940 RESTORATION MANUAL, well worth the money, forsale here on this web site,

I have the book it talks about the tag but I didn't get a location out of the reading.
Could have missed it, it was late in my reading it.
Thanks
Dennis

As you have probably seen a picture of one is on page 4-42 of the 39 book, body # 321 this was probably just the job # or inventory # for Murray. What they don't show is where it goes,I have owned two 39 convertible coupes over the years but have none to look at now.As I remember plate was on drivers side of firewall, high up in the corner, should be two small drive nail holes,if filled may be seen from inside. Problem is if you don't have one the proper one is not reproduced that I know of.
