Where do I find 6.00x 16 Ford script tires? Original mold

If you really mean the original 1936 mold you will have to go to Russia. Ford sold their entire tire plant and all the machinery to the Russians around the time of WWII.

In 2001 I bought them from Universal tire co. no longer available.

Whats going to happen with concourse judged cars if they cant get the correct tires? Coker and other companies are hard pressed at selling disguised radials.

While Ford script times are a neat item, they were not the only tire Ford used to meet production schedules in the late 30's to early 40's. Ford still purchased Firestone, Goodrich and Goodyear tires. I believe that some or all of these tires are being reproduced.

That is a shame that they are no longer available from Universal Tire. I bought my last 5 from them just exactly 10 years ago must have been before Coker bought them out. I always thought they were pretty good tires and did not have the problem of yellowing or browning whitewalls as some do.

So, Firestone, goodrich, Goodyear? Witch are correct for an early 41 Coupe and who might supply them?

Universal carries Firestone and Goodyear repros. They would be period correct.

If you are looking for white walls, the Goodyear tires have a "stepped" white wall and the tread pattern looks more like a middle 1930 pattern. The Firestone and Goodrich tire looks more like the 1940's pattern.

Here is a link to a drawing of the Goodyear tire

Do a Google search for 600 x 16 tires and you can see some of the vendors that sell tires for your car. I have had good service from Coker.
