I know how to get the instument lights and the clock light(s) to show on your '49,'50, and maybe '51-'53 Fords. It's like all else in life-"it's easy if you know how!"I wrote a piece on the forum yesterday about how to do the instrument lights.Clock lights don't light the clock well because they too had phosphorous paint on them, which sun light deteriated. So, how to get good light? Cut about 1/8"(a little more is O.K.) out of the little celluloid strip inside around the face.Position the space in it, at the corner near where the bulb goes.I tacked mine in at 2 or 3 points with "Goop"using a tooth pick.Bingo!! The clock is lit up nicely!!!Question(s)? Steve 352 666 9916 E.T.
