  POWER VALVE TESTER
I've just learned of the availability of an interesting tool to test 1938-48 CG, and Holley 94's.
Made by MOROSO PERFORMANCE PRODUCTS, it carries a part number of: 62295

This Power Valve Tester is designed to be used with a
hand vacuum pump to test Holley type Power Valves
for diaphragm rupture.

The power valve is threaded into the end of the tester body,
finger tight. The cap is then installed over the
power valve. The hose from the hand vacuum pump
is then attached to the cap, and a vacuum
higher than the rating of the power valve drawn on the
tester. If the tester is unable to maintain a vacuum, the
power valve diaphragm has been ruptured and should
be replaced.

ken ct: That's the way I've always done it. I just perhaps figured "someone" out there would be interested. My method was to suck on it, and then use my tongue to seal off the port. I'd wait a few seconds, to see it my tongue was still stuck to the inlet in case it had a very "slow" leak.
