Spent the last 2 days bleeding a freshly installed brake system to include master & wheel cylinders + new brake lines. First day spent stopping leaks and trying to get the air out of the system. Stopped the leaks today and spent a good 2 hrs with the wife working the brake pedal to what seemed to no avail--couldn't stop the bubbles. Didn't matter which wheel cylinder, the bubbles were there. Racked my brain--no leaks, should be no bubbles if the system is operating properly. Where were they coming from?
Turns out the bleeder hose I was using had a small crack in it and was introducing air into the hose, hence, the bubbles. Removed the section with the crack and no more bubbles. Now I have a fully functional brake system.
Now on to the start up.
