How do you remove the lock cylinder from the trunk lid handle of a 1948 Tudor? I want to send it be re-chromed but I can't seem to get the lock cylinder out of it.

The easiest way is to take it to a friendly locksmith. There is a little pin holding the lock in place. It is accessible when the lock is in the unlocked position, through the small slot in the handle at the top of the lock cylinder. Tom
