Over the Winter I developed a water leak on my 1937 Fordor. Turns out it's one of the lower radiator hoses. So I removed the horn cover and horn and I can see the hose and the leak. My question is, Is there an easy way of removing this hose? Or do I have to to loosen the radiator to get change it? Thanks Mike

Well..... maybe this was a dumb question, but I'm getting old and have not done much with this car for 25 years. Here's what worked, Removed the clamps and then with great difficulty, I loosened the hose from the radiator and water pump. Using a small pry bar on the water pump side I pried the hose off the water pump, then it came off the radiator. Looks like oil has softened the hose to the point where it would not seal, so It must be time for new hoses. Thanks Mike

Stopped at NAPA and picked up some new radiator hose. As is the case in most instances, installing the hose is an order of magnitude harder to do than to remove it. But...... it's in and it does not leak. Again pry bars were used along with some special vocabulary. Thanks Mike

Mike; Been there -- done that. I used a hacksaw to cut through the old hoses. I found that the new hoses were a little more pliable, so was able to wiggle them on.
