We are looking to rent a classic car and driver for a few hours on June 26th, on Long Island, NY. This would be to chauffeur two people to our local High School Prom; Drop-off only, so you will be done by 8 pm or so. We are thinking along the lines of a 4 door, unique vehicle such as an early-60's Lincoln Town Car w/suicide doors; mid-late 50's Caddy; Buick; or Mercury; or something else that looks 'cool and classic' - but not a Rolls or typical wedding limo . No Low-riders or chopped; think 'rat-pack'; Godfather; Goodfellas Thanks in advance

There are companies that provide this service, try Google to find one near you. Most hobbyists are restricted by their insurance companies from doing this. Their insurance would be void and if an accident occurred, there would be no insurance coverage. The insurance for this type of service is very expensive, so it prevents the hobbyist from providing a service like this. Tom
