I have been told to use the new synthetic motor oil in a 49 Merc. But I do not know what grade? What about Zink? Does the new synthetic have any?

I use Mobil 1 15w 50 in all three of my old Ford cars. Have been using this oil for many years now. The zinc content formulated in this oil is more than a adequate for these old Flathead's.... This message was edited by MG on 5-16-17 @ 10:30 PM
