With my 59AB engine stripped down to the bare block, how is the best/correct way to remove the head studs so they can be replaced? Any special technics and tools to be used? - Thanks for any help. V8JR

Snap on sell a stud remover that works pretty good or you could tighten two nuts together and turn the bottom one. If you have to heat them only heat the stud red hot and let cool three times then tap on the stud while putting pressure on the bottom nut patience is a virtue.
