I need the bearing rear brake drums for a 40 ford. Where can I find them at?

NOS are often available on sites like eBay. Reproductions are also available but I'd be VERY skeptical of their quality. There have been NUMEROUS reports of very premature failure of the reproduced bearings. The cages were apparently not hardened correctly and as such come apart rather quickly.

I most likely have Ford (OEM) bearings available if so desired.

You should add your general location to your profile (and in this case post). This information will help people suggest sources and maybe someone will have some you could use.

If the surface of the rollers in the bearing being replaced shown signs of roughness or spalling, carefully check the underside of the rear axle housing which serves as the bearing race. If you find them rough, replacing the bearing will soon result in damage to the new one. Most old Fords show some wear or other damage, and if pronounced, the rear end should be removed, disassembled, and machined to allow the installation of sleeves. These are available a part number B-4012. Be sure that the sleeves are properly hardened as some in the market have been found to be inferior. We use C&G (800/266-0470. The housings should be checked carefully for straightness when they are machined.
