Topic: 37 axle bumpers

Hello, I recently acquired a Tudor and Fordor 37. Both have the cone shaped axle bumper, but the catalogs indicate the pointed bumpers are correct. Pics of both are attached. Can anyone help me out here?
Thanks,
Gregg

Sounds like they have been replaced over the years.
The open cone style have a 91A part number --- 1939 - 1940.
Do a search on axle bumpers on Dennis Carpenter's website and you will find 8 different styles.
The ones listed for 1935 - 1938 should be correct.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will check it out. It is amazing how "original" these things look on my cars, but there are a few other things that don't quite seem right, so I will research everything I come across. Great to have the V8 Club Forum for keeping me on track.
