I want to restore some stainless door trim for my 48 coupe but have a couple of question, can the pin strip be removed and how, also are the pins bent over flush with door panel after installation

I'm not sure the pin strips in the stainless trim can be removed. It's my recollection that they were crimped in place when the trim was made. If possible find a used strip and experiment in removing it. The pins are in fact bent over to be flush with the panel.

Thanks for the info, finding used stainless to experiment with could be a challenge.
