Restoring means bringing back to original condition, so stock is the only option if you are restoring it. Stock works very well under normal driving conditions. If you are modifying the truck, you can probably get better information on how and what to use on the HAMB. Tom

Greetings, I enter this discussion sheepishly after a bit of a previous tiff. But here goes! First, I agree with the previous that restore means "to as original". But check out Chassis Engineering. They have a parallel leaf rear end set-up that will make your truck sway less, front and rear sway bars, and with a new front spring maybe from Posies and new tube shocks, it should ride fine. PLEASE note! All these parts are bolt-in changes that can easily be changed back to stock configuration. An 8" or 9" Ford open drive shaft rear is good. Don't bother with a mustang independent front end. Too many changes and on the "smoother" modern roads, not really necessary. Okay guys, fire away! 42oink
