Can anyone tell me how to change the bulb in the dome light? I cannot figure out how to remove the lens cover.

The lense is glass and is held in by a large snap ring. Follow the edge of the glass next to the base and you will find an open space in the snap ring. Carefully hold the lense and lift one end of the snap ring and remove as you move around the edge of the base. Once the snap ring is off, the lense will come off. Hope this helps. Gary Tosel

hi you might need a special 6V bulb, has 2 Contacts on it, be sure you check this out, before you replace the with wrong bulb and cause a short,look into the socket,and see if you have to contacts in there, I have such bulbs, hope this helps 37RAGTOPMAN

Just wanted to thank Gary for the help and it is now fixed. I even pulled the unit and painted it the Benton Gray.
