I have a new 59ab rebuild that I would like fire up before installation any ideas for the set up I need.

a solid mounting and cooling is important.. Most manufactures want you to start the engine with a new cam and lifters and run it for 10 to 20 minuets at a fast idle to break in the cam that is a big thing. I have a pressurized can of motor oil that I use to have instant pressure when I first start a new engine. have fun
