The rumble seat side panel on the RH side of my '34 cabriolet has the opening and flap for, I assume, the tool kit and the panel on the LH side has an odd shaped 4 sided opening with a rubber like material attached behind it. What is the opening on the LH side for and what is the purpose of the rubber material behind it? Bill Brown '34 Cabriolet

The pocket on the LH side is for tools and jack, etc. The 34 Cabriolet should have this pocket. Check with the 33-34 club restoration book and at one point the RH tool box was an accessory, I do not have my book handy.
