I found a gear shift knob in a box of doorknobs that have been in my basement for thirty years. The doorknobs came from an old Mannor House and barn that was being torn down. As I sorted through the doorknobs I discovered the gear shift knob which looks very much like a doorknob. It has a bright silver medallion on the top. Ford is printed on the top with Rotunda at the bottom and a building in between. Is there anybody looking for one?

You have an original 1937 Ford Rotunda knob, sold at the Ford Rotunda in Dearborn MI. It does have value to a collector. Do a search on Ford Gearshift Knobs on eBay and you will be surprised at the value. I guess I should have said check out Completed Items for Collectible Ford gearshift knobs. A 1934 Chicago Worlds Fair knob sold for $149. Watch out for the REPRODUCTION knobs out there. This message was edited by nelsb01 on 1-13-17 @ 8:57 AM

Thanks for the conformation. I was thinking that it would be nice to find someone who was restoring an old ford and needed the gearshift knob to compleat the job.
