Maybe one of the members can help. I believe in 1952,there was an accessory hood ornament available for the 1952 Ford. It was a chrome eagle with adjustable wings. Am I correct? Maybe it was for the 53 or 54? Please enlighten me?

Yes, Ford offered a "Deluxe Hood Ornament" to replace the standard "jet airplane". This "winged bird" had adjustable wings that could be set to three different positions. The part number for both 1952 and 1953 is BA-18244-B. This information come from The 1952-1953 Ford Book published by our national club.
