Topic: '36 PU Cab on Frame

What bolts are used to mount cab on frame. I have new wood and two 5 1/5 in. bolts with springs. I believe they came out of the rear location but do not know how to orient the springs. Are spring/bolt combos used in the forward positions? Thnx

Contact Roy Nacewicz at; www. fordbolts.com. He has the complete bolt kits. If your cab is like a '40 it takes bolts with springs at the front and at the back. The center bolts do not use springs. The springs go on the bolts after the bolt passes through the frame.

  Don't forget the wood.
The cab rests on wood and then there is the floor board.

You can get those thru Roy also. And then -- he is the only one that has the correct bed bolts.
