Another flathead question. 53 Flathead..Will the front seal bushing that is on the crankshaft snout, slide off with the crankshaft timing gear, or is it pressed on, and needs to be cut off??

It is pressed on. With the crankshaft out, you can pull it off by placing a gear puller behind the crank gear.
