I have a radiator marked 21A / G at the right side of the top tank. It has two pipes for inlet and two for outlet and no drain cock at the bottom. I want to know whitch vehicle it come from. This message was edited by jehn on 10-27-16 @ 9:55 AM

It should be a 42 part but cannot find any listing in GB for a "G" suffix letter ????????? ken ct.

The 21A makes it a 1942 passenger car radiator and the G notes the location of the supplier Ford Motor Company Green Island New York. I think that Ford stated the letter designation in 1937 because of warranty claim isues and where a particular radiator came from. Others are B4 which is McCord Radiator Detroit.B4D was Ford at Dearborn.B5 was Modine of Wisc.and B6 was Long radiator.

Ok, Ken, I understand. But I am a little bit confused over the loosen drain valve. Did they really made radiators without that?

The drain valve or petcock should be on the drivers side(USA left) and just below the lower outlet. Does it look like it was there and just removed? Mayby someone chane out the lower tank. I had two '46 Fords but I just remember the drain was lower left and only the one. I do swear that I almost remember a time where I couldn't find the drain on one of the early Fords I have owned and had to drain through the block plugs.

Yes, I think you are right. Someone has removed the drain cock.
