Topic: Installation of Headlight Relays

Instructions say "locate the headlight switch terminal on the dimmer switch." Would love to but have to locate the dimmer switch on my 36 Ford first. Where's the dimmer switch, would this be referring to the headlight switch on the steering wheel?

Will follow up with vendor but thought someone may have been down this road before with a 36 or similar year Ford.

Thanks.

The light switch and wiring is at the end of the steering box. It is operated by the mechanical rod and switch at the center of the steering wheel. The switch has four positions: Off, one click C.W.=Park, One click C.C.W.from off=low beam, Second click C.C.W. from off= High Beam.

Sorry I posted this on the wrong thread. I sure wish it was clear on how to delete a post.

When I converted my '36 headlights to sealed beams I eliminated the stock lighting switch from the bottom of the column. The original switch was problematic at its best due to age.
I installed a pull switch in the dash hole which was for the hand throttle, I then moved the starter switch from the area between the clutch/brake, installing a modern dimmer switch in it's place.
I installed a push button starter switch on the left side of dash, similar to the later model Fords.
Cleaning up all of the wiring mess it was much easier to place the headlight relay on the left side of the firewall above the column and run the necessary wires to the switch, etc..
