In process of removeing windshield frame to change glass.removed screws at hindge and still seems tight does the whole hindge have to come out. thanks

I bought a frame for my 36 & took it to be cromed. It appears to me that the only thing holding it in would be the screws in the hinges & the two screws where it cranks out. Can't see where anything else could be holding it in. Maybe the seal is stuck tight. Good luck! Joe

Remove the screws at the top of the hinge where it attaches to the body of the car. The hinge itself is spot welded to the frame in addition to the screws that you can see in the windshield frame. Mike
