I have a '37 engine that was reconditioned according to a metal tag pinned to the block. the tag has lots of numbers stamped on it. anyone know what they all mean? 060 010 010 48 010 68 010 68 010 and 17895 i'm also curious about some wording that is missing RECONDITIONED C???? ASS'Y BY AUTHORIZED RECONDITIONER thanks as always. This message was edited by fenbach on 9-9-16 @ 4:40 PM

The 060 probably is the bore. 010 010 should be how much was turned off the crankshaft. 48 010 and 68 010 could be the amount the cam bearing journals were bored, the last number looks like a Julian date, the 178th day of 1995. Greg
