how does the the inner apron support bolt up to the frame cross member? I understand there is a spring arrangement with the bolt-up??? I live in a small town, not much help here...Regards..t

The inner panels are supported by a V shaped yoke that mounts to the center of the front crossmember.

There is a small piece of anti-squeak material between the frame and the brace. Modern duck cloth is very good replacement. The bolt was installed from the bottom- upwards through the frame, anti-squeak pad, brace, spring, flat washer, slotted nut and held in place with a cotter pin.
