1950 F-1 - Recently rebuilt the generator for my F-1. Took pictures of the wiring for the regulator and generator but failed to notice if it was a "positive" ground or "negative" ground on the battery. It is a 239 V-8 Flathead. Already turned in old battery and have a new 6 volt in its place. Looking for some experienced help as I do not want to damage anything. Thx JP

Tom is right. Also the stock positive cable end where the terminal goes over the post should be slightly larger if you haven't removed them. If you replace the cables be sure to get cables the correct size for 6 volts (they are larger than 12 volt cables). When you first start the truck watch the ammeter, it should be charging correctly. Thank you Tom and Charlie, Looking forward to restoring this truck with my son. First time for me. My son works at a body shop and paints.
