I have a 51 Ford F1. I am using a composite voltage reducer for the three gauges (not individual Runtz reducers) This is the latest from Carpenter and Macs. I get no power thru the reducer. I have power going in but none coming out. However I do get continuity all the way thru to the gauges. The reducer is grounded per instructions. Could it be that the the ground is diverting the current back to the battery before it gets through the reducer? Does this kind of composite reducer have to be grounded?

Have you solved your problem yet? If not I would call your supplier and ask to speak to their tech representative. I personally have no experience with rhis type of reducer.
