Recently i went shopping for tires for my Ford 1953 F250 right now it has 750-16lt on truck Bias. I like to switch to Radial and while shopping the tire man told me going to a fat tire example 215-70-16 or 235-17-16 will make it hard to steer the truck mind you it doesn't have power steering. is this true he recommended 215-85-16??? I would appreciate any input

Your tire man gave you good advice. The 85 aspect ratio tire will make your truck steer more like it would with original tires with all of the benefits of a radial tire. Tom
