Topic: 1937 ford pickup 1/2 ton and 1-1/2 ton

We have a 1937 1/2 ton pickup. I see an ad on craigslist for a 1-1/2 ton flatbed pickup. While I know the pictures aren't always great, the pics for this look to be great, especially for the cab and grille. Are the cab (and hood/fenders/grille) the same size between these two trucks?
What about the frame? It is just a stronger frame, but the same size?

I ask because some of the X member is rotted out on my frame. I am thinking about going to see this flatbed pu and see how many of the parts will work. To be honest, the cab (again, in pics) looks like better shape than my cab.

Trixie the truck will be revived!

While they look alike, they are not. the ton and a half will be on the 131 inch wheel base and your half ton pickup will be on the 112 inch wheel base.
The front fenders are different, the running boards are different -- but the cab will be the same. The grille will be the same, except I believe down where the fenders attach.
I am sure others will add to the list.
