Having major problem finding upper rad hoses for my 1939 1/2 ton pickup with 85hp V8. I measured 1 7/8 flange on radiator and it looks like the same for the heads (hoses still on have the metal reinforcement) Any help on where to buy or build up. Everything I see 1s 1 3/4 or 2 inch ID. thanks, Rob

I checked some of my old heads and they too measure 1 7/8 The 1 3/4 hoses if they are new should stretch 1/8" without any problems. That's what I always use.

I found a Dayco upper radiator hose code "E" length 72357 works well with 1 7/8 on the block end and 1 3/4 at the radiator, just needed a trim on the rise and length. Rob
