Does anyone know the dimensions or where I can get the bracket that goes from the rear of a stock radio to the firewall?
Many thanks in advance.
Best regards to all,
Tony

I had a drawing of that thing once that I made one from, but who knows where the drawing is now. I also had a NOS radio installation kit which included the part. It's installed in my truck now and may be impossible to get to to measure, but I'll try. As I recall, all it is a galvanized flat bar, turned up or down on each end (an angle other than 90 degrees to accommodate the situation as the bar angles slightly upward from the back of the radio) and with a hole in one end and a stud welded to the other. It connects to the stud on the back of the radio using a nut and lock washer and to a hole that is drilled in the cowl. It fastens to the cowl with a lock washer and nut with the nut and washer on the outside.

I couldn't measure the brace that I could barely see under the dash board of my 62-year old truck lying on my back. Sorry.
