I failed to take photo of the location of the front of hood release spring location when I took it apart, I,m trying to put it back together and can't figure it out,this is the spring that retracts the chrome release handle when u open the hood. Thanx,Fred

The chassis parts catalog does not give a good drawing of the spring location, so I cannot help you. Maybe one of the guys with a 48-51 truck can help you. Tom
