Hello, I just cleaned my generator, and is time to do polarity! Can someone give me an step by step instructions to achieve this. Thank you.

Normally just installing the generator with the battery disconnected and then connecting the battery, will polarize the generator properly. If your ammeter moves in the wrong direction when the engine is running, just touch the field wire to the Neg battery connection. Tom
