Will the windshield centerpost from a 41 truck interchange with a 37 truck ??? thanks lynn

I doubt that it will be an easy change. The 37 windshield cranked out for ventilation and the 41 did not. The frame for the crank out feature made the glass in a 37 slightly smaller than the 40-41 commercial vehicles. I think that there were more changes in the cab in 38 that would also make it unlikely that an interchange could be made. Tom

No they will not interchange. The center post of the 37 is built into the frame and is covered with a stainless steel cover(if the windshield frame was chrome plated)If the frame was not chrome plated the center post was painted. The 41 center post has sleeves that pass through the rubber gasket and mates up to the center garnish moulding inside the truck.The garnish moulding and center post "sandwich" the rubber gasket.
