Topic: Need help indentifying a part

I'm rebuilding a 1949 Ford F1 and I bought a set of bucket seats at a swap meet and need to find out the year they're from so I can buy the seat covers. Where can I get that info?

I was told by the seller that they're from a Camaro but I know I can’t completely trust a swap meet seller. I did however find some tags on the bottom.

The driver's side says CHEV GRAPH 6WAY Piece : 16778966 CSN : 316210

The passenger side says CHEV GRAPH 2WAY Piece : 16778970 CSN : 316210

Please help.

Take the part numbers to your local Chevy dealer and they may be able to check the part number and give you the info that you are looking for. Not too many Chevy guys on this site and not having a full photo of the seat is tough to make a guess as to the year of the seat.
