I would like to know the CORRECT tires for the 37 Pickup with the Deluxe Accessories Package. I need to know if a particular script is more acceptable than another one and FOR SURE if they were white-wall on BOTH sides as I was told. Please give correct size for tire and the width of the white-wall. Thanks!!!

James, The most popular tire by far is the Firestone made by Coker, and is the MOST correct, although the tire tread is actually a service replacement tread rather than the original tread. If your pickup is the 85, it will have had the 6.00 x 16 tire, and would have come with blackwall tires. The 60 model would have 5.50 x 16, and would also have had blackwall tires.

It would have been very unusual to see a Ford back in the day that had whitewalls, and highly improbable for a pickup, but many prefer them today. If you plan to show it on the Concourse, and want whitewalls, the correct tire would have whites on both sides. Whitewall width varies now as it did then, from 3" to 3 1/2". The Coker is 3 1/4"
