Topic: 41-42 1/2 ton pickups

I know that the wheelbase of a 1941 1/2ton pickup is 112" and that it increased to 114" in 1942. My question is: Is the added 2" length between the front axle and the cab back or is the increase behind the cab? Also, is the front axle to cab back dimension the same on a 1/2ton as on a 1-1/2ton? Can anyone help me find the answers to these questions?

41 1/2 ton pu used a car frame, when 42 rolled around the frame is totally different-no x member,"ladder" type cross members, etc. The cabs are the same from 40-47 even on big trucks. Frome measuring on a 46 frame a friend has I beleive this measurement to be the same and the pu body is longer.
