Thanks for the responses to my previous questions. I have one more - what color is the heater supposed to be, and are there new or good used circular cover on the front with Magic Air painted on it? Thanks.

Although you could have most any kind of heater in your truck, the recirculating heater sold for '51 and '52 was medium dark gray with a argent spear. I have attached a picture. If you are talking about the fresh air heater, I have no clue. http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg264/rcrispd/Heater2-1.jpg This heater is kind of unique as the motor has a shaft coming out of each end. One shaft drives a blower wheel (centrifugal fan) and the other has a conventional axial fan with blades. One is for defrost and one is for heat.
