Thanks to club members I'm closer to knowing what the wheels on my truck should be. Mac Hill book shows that the 112" pickup has artillery wheel design and the 122" pickup came with solid rims. Both style wheels have close in lugs not wide lug pattern like earlier truck do have.
The odd thing is that i have solid rim wheels not artillery wheels on my 112" pickup. Does anyone have a close up picture of the solid rim wheel without the hubcap blocking the lug pattern?
If you do I'd like to see it please.
Dave

If you have a '39 112" wheelbase truck, the only wheel offered that year was the wide bolt pattern artillary style wheel. It is quite possible that someone has installed later drums and wheels on your hubs which would allow the use of '40 and up close pattern solid wheels. If you are going for authenticity, you will need to install the wide pattern drum and wheels. If not then stay with what you have.
