Topic: Radio for 1937 Ford

I understand a radio was available as an accessory for the 37 Pickup. I have a radio that I believe to be correct for this model, but not sure what the knobs should look like as there were two colors available. Can anyone tell me what the clock, knobs should look like and where the darn speaker goes!!! Also, does anyone have a suggestion as to where I can get this radio restored and repaired (BOTH)!
Thanks and GO NAVY SEALS!!!

Radios were almost always installed at the dealer as an accessory, and were particularly unusual in pickups or trucks of any kind. Ford dealers had several suppliers, including Philco, which Ford once owned, so there may not be a "correct" one. Your best bet for information is a company that does restoration. Try www.turnswitch.com, or toll free 877/780-2861.

They must have been REALLY rare in trucks! Since mine has the "Deluxe Accessories Group" package, I guess the owner wanted IT ALL!!! I emailed the company you suggested and currently awaiting a response. I will post again when I hear something more definite. Thanks so much for your help and hope it works out!!
