This is definitely out of my area of expertise but I believe the BB says it is a heavy commercial and the 18 says it came with a V8 motor. I think the information you gave will narrow it down to 1932 to the late thirties. Post the rest or the digits (using XXX for the last three) and it will be easier to narrow it down.

Ford used the "18" prefix for 1932 and, as Charlie said, the "BB" is the designation for "heavy" commercial, as opposed to light trucks such as pickups and panels. When you say "bus", most of us assume you mean "school bus". We don't see many of those, particularly very old ones, as the country roads usually turned them to junk. I'm not sure where you could locate sheet metal for a very old truck or bus, as most was claimed by rust, etc.

The serial number on the frame falls in the range of 1937 serial numbers. Here is a link to the serial numbers for Flathead V-8's.

The front clip from a 131 1/2" or a 157" wheel base truck should fit your bus. Some of the bus body manufacturers modified the front fenders and hood when they built the bus, so the fit may not be exact.

Very early school buses often had custom made bodies. The later type were built on a truck frame that came from the factory as identical to the regular models, except the partial body ended at the cowl and dash. the front "clip" (fenders, hood, etc) were standard, so if you can find the sheet metal, it should fit. As a kid, I used to drive the bare chassis to the body plant from the dealer. It was fun until it rained and/or got cold. You can find out a lot about buses by Googoling "bluebird buses". Bluebird was a pioneer in that field, and has a substantial history.
