47 Ford pickup V/8. Where do the thermostats go? Have not seen any thermostats. do they drop in the water hose hole or what? I just can't seem to figure out where they go.

The thermostats fit inside the upper radiator hoses on the tops of the heads. The upper hoses have an I.D. that is slightly smaller than the O.D. of the thermostats to hold them in place.
