Hi All, I'm having a new vehicle I.D plate made up for my /53 F-100 so that I can export it from Peru back to the USA. Please tell me if what you see in these three photos looks to be correct. Note; I have no I.D. tag anywhere on the cab. Thanks Greg

Nope. Appears to me that is was added by persons unknown. No resemblance to a factory number. IMO. But if I'm wrong others will correct me. ______________ No signature

Your ID number should be stamped on top of the right frame rail in the area just to the rear of the front crossmember. That is the number that most states use to register the vehicle. The manufactures tag should be found inside of the glove box door. That will also have the frame ID number and other features of the pickup such as motor size, axle ratio, etc. This message was edited by trjford8 on 7-9-21 @ 12:53 PM

The Peruvian owners card - a local requisite - has FLA32360 as the serial and engine number. See attached image I was thinking the FLA might've been something to do with the 302 the truck had when I purchased it so I chose to ignore it. Does this ring any bells ?

Unfortunately that number does not ring any bells with me. Did you locate any frame # on top of the right frame rail?

No, the only number on the chassis is that TAA 5015 A MC stamped on the RH rail. G

If that is a stamped number on the top right hand rail that would be the ID number used by most states to register the vehicle. I'm not that familiar with the ID numbers on the '53 on up pickups. I'm also not familiar with numbers used on those vehicles that were imported or assembled in foreign countries.
