Looking for advice on where to find replacement tires for my 1948 F-1. I would like to stick to original style bias ply tube tires. I have had the same tires on the truck for nearly 30 years--can't be safe! And just had a puncture and determined that the tire is too far gone to put in a new tube (tire place refused to do it, properly so!). I can probably keep the best of the other 4 as a spare, so I am looking to buy 4 new tires, 6.50 x 16 LT 6-ply if I can find them. Regular tire shops find no source, but I hope there are speciality sources for antique cars and trucks.
