I just installed a Bob Drake replacement oil pump in my 51 F1. I got it at Mac's. The pump is longer than the original so the pan will not seat. . I am told I need a longer pan. Where do I get one. I never heard of a longer pan. Many thanks. Petrer

Peter, the 51 Ford requires the short body oil pump, P/N 8BA-6621 that is available from C&G and other vendors. I don't know of a source for a deeper oil pan that will fit your truck. Tom
