I just pruchased a '41 Panel Delivery, not to be confused with the Sedan Delivery. The PD had the pickup dash and front clip, the SD had the passenager car dash and front clip. The question is how can I find out how many were manufactured of the 1941 model year #11A-80C. Hopefully with or without the side mounted spare tire. Your help is appreciated. Contact

Don, very nice panel delivery. My only source for production numbers on the panel delivery is the V-8 Album put out by the Early Ford V-8 Club.Generally this book is very good about posting production numbers, but in your case they say that the number produced is "unknown". This book was put together by some well known V-8ers who did a lot of research on this book, so if the info was available they would have published it.I also checked the book "The Commercial Fords" by Lorin Sorensen. The book has photos of the 40 and 41 panel delivery. Production on the '40 was 5140, but there are no production numbers for the '41.Lorin was very precise when he did a book, so I suspect he did not find the production numbers for '41.
Unless someone else can answer your question on this forum you might try the Ford Archives in Dearborn.

Another source for production numbers is the Detroit Public Library.
