Looking for some assistance with deciphering the serial number on my 1940 Ford pick up . I am a Canadian who's recently moved to Arizona and I'm being told I need to confirm where my truck was manufactured ( USA or elsewhere), if its elsewhere I'm going to be tagged with a 25% import duty as a foreign vehicle!! My father purchased the truck in 1958 and has been in our hands since...no other documentation available. does the serial number stamped on the frame indicate where the truck would have been made? Any help would be appreciated!!

Please post the serial number you would like deciphered. Use XXX for the last three digits if you are concerned. Charlie Stephens
