I decided to rebuild my 4 banger and need some info before I get into it. a post recently said here that the valves and guides are same as the v8. what about the pistons? and are most parts interchangeable with tractor engines? also I have heard these engines are sleeved. they have been referred to as the ''half a merc''-so should I be looking for mercury parts? it looks like the fuel,oil pump and carburetor may be hard to get parts for??? if someone has done one of these recently I would appreciate the info Thanks
