  Hello,
my name is Martin, living in the Netherlands and currently restoring our 1939 V8 Pick-up togheter with my dad.

it all looked quit solid, we own this truck for 6 years now. But now we're taking it apart it is worser then we thougt.

We have already a lot of questions about it, but over here in the Netherlands there is'nt that much knowledge about this.

first question:
are there any body parts for sale like fenders and runningboards?
second question:
the floor inside the cabin, should it be a steel floor or is it made from wood?

Hope to learn a lot overhere.

Martin

Martin, the floor should be steel. Check with V-8 vendors such as Dennis Carpenter for your sheet metal needs such as floor pans and patch panels. A company called EMS over here also makes sheet metal parts. I think you can get new reproduction running boards, but fenders will have to be found at swap meets or by want ads on the internet. There is a guy in California who specializes in these trucks and advertises his used parts on Craigslist. You can usually find the parts on the San Francisco Craigslist.
